Artists of the Limberlost
August 16 & 17 Artists of the Limberlost Open Studio Weekend. August 16 & 17, 10am to 6pm. Explore scenic Limberlost Road near Huntsville and experience work by 25 artists and craftspeople at 9 studios along a 20 km. route. See a diversity of quality work including paintings, fused glass, pottery, jewellery, woodturning and bronze sculpture.

Parkinson SuperWalk Bracebridge
September 6th. This fall we are running our annual SuperWalk fundraiser in your area. It is a major event that helped to raise approximately $2.76 million last year for Parkinson Society Canada to provide education, support, and advocacy for the 100,000 Canadians who live with Parkinson’s disease. Parkinson SuperWalk is the largest national fundraising event for Parkinson Society Canada (PSC) and its regional partners. Approximately 14,000 participants from coast-to-coast organize and take part in Parkinson SuperWalk. This year's theme for the SuperWalk is 'Everyday Heroes, Extraordinary Hope.' Great Muskoka Paddling Experience
October 11, 2014. Long weekend with nothing to do? Come out and paddle at the Great Muskoka Paddling Experience!! A fun racing experience for canoes, kayaks & SUPs for all levels of participants in support of Muskoka Watershed Council. When? Saturday 11th of October, 2014 (Thanksgiving Weekend) Two race lengths: 10 and 18 kilometers. Plus One fun paddle of 2.5 kilometers to Bracebridge Falls and return.
